Tyler's POV

Tyler was a bit taken aback by the design of the room when Sophie pulled him in. It was the first time he was coming into her room. Heck, it was the first time he would make it into her apartment. It had always been his.

Throwing his glance away from the white walls, he angled his body toward the lady in shorts, seated on the large bed. Sophie sat there staring at him patiently.

“What?” he questioned when she wouldn't stop staring at his face.

She palmed her face, her body still a bit pale from the event of the past few days. She had gotten so quiet, she hardly ever spoke.

“Sophie?” Tyler sighed as he moved toward her. He wasn't sure exactly what he was going to do with her but she was seated there, not looking at him and the whole thing was making him uncomfortable.

“Will you talk to me, please?” he pleaded, crouching down low in front of her.
