Chapter 34

Arielle almost screamed when she woke up the next morning and saw Gun sitting on the edge of her bed, staring intently at her. She didn't know if he had been staring at her for a long time or if he had just entered her room.

"You gave me a shock, Gun. What are you doing in my room?" she asked him, pulling the blanket up to her chest. Luckily, she wasn't wearing a thin nightgown, so the man didn't see through her body.

"Your maids told me you didn't have dinner last night. And why didn't you change into your sleepwear?" He looked at the clothes she was wearing for office work. She hadn't been able to change her clothes last night because she was so tired. But when she woke up, she lost her mood to get dressed when she found out that Gun had left and gone to see his girlfriend, so she just went back to sleep.

"I'm too tired and sleepy to change my clothes last night," was her simple reply. She was waiting for Gun to come out of his room so she could wash her face and brush her teeth. Sh
