Amelia took in a deep breath as they both walked into the church. It was time for the couples to take their vows and she and her mother had agreed that she should escort the bride because of the absence of both her parents.

As if that was not suspicious enough that both her parents did not approve to the marriage, now she had to stand in for a girl that she barely knew.

She also could not get what Jackson had said out of her head even when she had laughed it off and changed the topic, she still heard it in her mind and still blushed at its remembrance.

It was obvious that he was trying to get something from her with the use of such flattery words. He had said that he was interested in her but she could hardly believe how fast this was all going and how fast her heart was racing at thoughts of him.
