My attention remained drawn to Max and his mother and no matter how bad I hate to mention her name, Seraphina.

Their presence created an atmosphere that I struggled to embrace. Despite my best efforts, a feeling of discomfort settled within me, making it hard to fully enjoy the scene unfolding before my eyes.

I watched as Max approached his mother with deliberate care. The way he kissed her cheeks and led her away conveyed a deep connection that tugged at my heart.
