As I stood behind Max, watching Florence talk, my world seemed to crumble before my eyes.

"But I did everything because I was in love," Florence cried, her voice filled with desperation. I was dumbfounded, unable to process the torrent of emotions that washed over me. My mind was in chaos, and a throbbing headache threatened to split my head in two.

My knees grew weak, and I struggled to maintain my balance. "Max," I croaked, my voice barely a whisper as I reached out towards him. It felt like the whole ordeal was finally taking its toll on me, now that I had finally confronted the truth.

The room spun around me, and I longed to escape. I just wanted to get out of there, to put distance between me and this painful revelation.

"Luna?" I heard my name, a distant voice breaking through the chaos in my mind. It was Max, trying to reach out to me, but I was already teetering on the edge of fainting.
