(Maximilian's POV)

"You lied for what?" shocked and dumbfounded I asked her as she held onto my leg, her voice louder as she cried. I have never felt more rage before.

The disgust, and the self-control to keep myself from just killing. "I think he passed out," Nathaniel said, checking the pulse on Sabastine.

"I loved you, we were good together," she cried as moved away from her, pulling her away from getting a hold of me.

The face I look at does not ring a bell, the memory I have of her was not a fond one. I was friends with Sabastine but not that close to her, she was the sister of a friend.

I have always known Sabastine, we went to the same school, we were coursemates for the most part, we didn't start out as best friends, we started as random students who happened to walk into each other all the time.

When Seraphina left, it was sudden. She was a good friend and I wanted to believe I was with her then suddenly she was no more. I became worse, I stayed by myself.
