“Still no sign of him right?” Don Gustavo asked his bodyguard by his side. The tall built man shook his head without actually looking him in the eyes.

Today was the D-day and Diego was still nowhere to be found. His father had expected him to make an entrance at least the day before so they could talk a bit and plan how they would go about telling their story to the other families so his exile could be lifted. Gustavo knew he had told Alejandro that he had not yet finalized on whether or not he would be accepting his son back but deep down in his heart he knew that was a lie. He was his son and he had dearly missed him all these years despite all that had happened.
