Chapter 5

Kiara's POV 

It is 11:30pm on Monday and I was on the plane back to Boston. I was meant to wait till Tuesday afternoon but I couldn't wait to see Granny, Kim and Professor Jones to break the good news. I am elated beyond word. 

I still couldn't comprehend what has been happening in my life for the past six days. I sat down reminiscing Friday's event. I still couldn't shake off the gobsmacked expression on the judges face. What amazed me the most was my confidence. I walked to the stage like I owned it. Everyone was on their feet the moment I ended the presentation.

Thankfully the gloomy judge didn't show up for the final presentation. I don't think I would have been able to stand his cold and hateful glares like the ones he sent my way at the club.
