"Mama, look at the rabbit. It's eating our carrots." I yelled out for my mother to see the red eyes rabit who was busy nibbling on a carrot in the backside garden of our cabin house.

My mama walked out of the house, her beautiful face wore a smile as she leaned on the door.

"Mama, can we take him in?" I looked at her with puppy eyes as I always wanted a pet but my father was against it.

"You know your Dad, baby. He won't allow us to take him with us." My mother gave me an apologetic smile.

I half heartedly looked at the bunny who was now staring at me with his shiny red eyes.

"We can hide him in the basement, Mama. Yes, we can make a house for him in the basement and Dad will never find out about the bunny." I told her my innocent childish idea.

She shook her head and pointed her finger behind me,"I think your bunny loves to live in the grasslands. Look, he's gone far." She said.
