63. I AM NOT ATTENDING

Ever since the day Tom declared his intention of getting the whole group, Amber began to make moves on her own end too. She would not wait and let Tom be ousted from the group just like that after all his hard work throughout the years.

She was well known in the secretaries’ groups, so everyone was already ready to render help whenever she needed one. She thought about using them to her advantage, and they were willing to help.

Her mother was finally discharged from the hospital, and she brought her home to stay with her. Tom was understanding enough to give her a few days' holiday in order to keep her company and help her adapt to living on her own now, since there is no caregiver like in the hospital.
