He wanted to burst in and punch Charles hard, but he restrained himself and thought this would be a perfect way to break his wings that he had been planning to get by getting married to a powerful family like Joy’s. Even though Mr. Joe offered to drive her back. She declined flatly and told him she would find her way home. She ordered a taxi back home and the thoughts of how Tom could do something drastic at someone’s wedding overflowed her brain.
