I was awoken by the rays of sunlight that shine into my room that morning, probably one of those mornings that I always woke up late.

I stretched my hand and reached out to Lesley's side of the bed but it was completely empty. I opened my eyes fully only to find myself alone in the room. I guessed he must have gone out for his numerous business meetings.

A few more months had passed and there had not been any cause of unrest, I was probably really the one overthinking things are that time. Even though I was yet to get over that feeling of being in danger, I was convinced that there was no danger after all. And we had been living our normal lives as usual.

It was just few weeks to my delivery date and I was feeling even more uncomfortable with the pregnancy, I could not just wait to put to bed, I could not wait to see what my child would look, I could not wait to carry my child in my arms. It would be one of the best feelings I had ever encountered.
