FIFTEEN

LESLEY

We made love again that night, first in the shower then on my bed.

I turned my head to watch her trying to catch her breath as we both lay on our backs exhausted after the whole exercise.

I rolled over to my side taking her in my arms, cuddling her so that her head rested on my chest.

“I love you” I finally mouthed the words to her

I immediately froze in shock as I heard the words come out of his lips.

“I love you” he had said to me.

I couldn’t believe my ears. I thought maybe I didn’t hear him correctly or maybe it was my imagination speaking.

I quickly looked up to meet his piercing gaze.

“what did you say?” I asked him in a whisper.

“I love you” he said again more audibly.

I looked at him wide eyed, with my lips parted in shock.

He nodded and smiled at me tenderly.

I hugged him even tighter, slowly kissing his chest.

‘he loves me too, maybe as much as I also love him. I can’t wait for all of these to be over so that we could be together with each other without any prob
