“He should be dead by now” I said casually

I saw the look of shock on her face, I liked it. Although I did not want her to get traumatized because of what she had seen, but yet I liked the shock on her face, I liked that she would start to have some fear for me if she did not have any before now.

I was glad that she had seen what would happen to anyone who rebelled against me.

I went to sit close to her on the bed.

“You might not understand now Ralia, but I would try to break it down in the most understandable way for someone like you” she sat upright fully and shifted away from me.

“That man you had seen out there, I do not know if he was still alive or if he would already be dead by now. He is one of those who think they could be audacious enough to rebel against me.
