"How is the collaboration going with Ace Enterprise going? Were you able to secure a contract with them?" Dad asked.

I stood in front of his desk as he rolled on his swivel chair and clicked his pen.

I sighed and almost rolled my eyes but I held myself from doing so or dad will get angry and start nitpicking at everything and that is the last thing I want.

"I'm still trying my best to convince them and increase the the contract to what they would like." I replied.

"So, you haven't been able to come to a conclusion yet? I gave you this project a month ago and there has not been any progress at all? I thought you would have been done with the crucial part and moved onto the project proper," Dad said.

He looked disappointed.

"I will try my best, give me more time...sir." I stated calmly. I was almost pleading with him in a desperate tone but I wanted to still hold onto my pride.

"Caden would not take this much time if I were to hand over this project to him. Caden has a
