CADEN

I groaned lightly in discomfort as my head was hurting.

Something cold was placed on my head and I managed to squint my eyes opened. I saw a blurry vision of what looked like Lauren looking all worried.

I was sick and I could barely see properly.

I yawned lightly and rolled to the other side of the bed and I was met with the sleeping Lauren who was not actually on the bed.

She was sitting on a small stool while her head was placed on the bed, one of her hand held mine.

It was so touching to see her like that. She looked so tired and it finally occured to me that she had taken care of me throughout the night when I suddenly broke down with a fever.

I removed the duvet from my body and quietly came down from the bed.

I went to where she was and squatted before her. I brushed aside the hair covering her face.

I stayed in that position as I admired her. She is one of the nicest person I know.

I feel bad to have put her in this condition when she was supposed to be having
