“Yes?” he asked.
“I am pregnant,” she said.
“I know,” he said with a smile.
“How?” she asked.
“I saw the report,” he replied.
“Then why didn’t you tell me?” she asked.
“I am waiting for you to say to me,” Austin replied.
She pouted. He laughed at her.

Even though the voice was lazy and uninterested, it held a sense of domination, pride, power, and elegance. And his words held utter disrespect toward Austin. They even held a sort of disdain and disgust. Abigail wanted to turn her head and look at him but she couldn’t. She was still flying! She wondered who did this to her.
