CHAPTER 39

While Derrick was cooling off and figuring out how to apologize for his insubordination, Rolph was trying to figure out how to break the ice.

The first time Derrick got scared of Rolph was when he had killed that boy with his whip. Derrick was kowtowing to him for weeks. He wouldn't stop calling Rolph 'boss' since then. Rolph had begged, fought him and stopped talking to him just so he could drop the 'boss' tag, but Derrick stuck to it. It was later he got to know that Derrick was distancing himself from him because he had killed someone simply to please Jolanta.
