Amari Fleur's Point Of View

"Did I say something wrong? Why did Aunt Sandra suddenly become angry?"

Klaus had asked me a question, but before I could answer, my phone interrupted us with a sudden ring. I felt a frown crease as I glanced at the caller ID. It was Mr. Devera on the line. Despite my annoyance at the interruption, I knew I had to take the call as it was likely important.

"I'm sorry, I need to take this call."

After telling Klaus, I walked to the veranda to attend the call.

"Finally! Congratulations, my dear Fleur."

On the other end of the line, Mr. Devera's cheerful voice could be heard, his words coming through loud and clear. His tone conveyed a sense of happiness and contentment despite not being face-to-face. It was clear that whatever he was calling about was bringing him joy.

"Thank you, Mr. Devera. I appreciate that you took the time to call me and offer your congratulations."
