CHAPTER 60

Rafael's Point Of View

I slowly put my luggage down and then looked around our house. Everything is still the same as before, and the only thing that has changed is the photos displayed in the living area. I was busy watching the pictures displayed when I didn't realize Dad was behind me.

"Nothing has changed in those yet. That's just not increased. Because you and your brother don't give your photo to your Mom, the display is no longer updated."

Dad said, then tapped me on my shoulder.

"Yeah. Anyway, how's Mom?"

I asked Dad, and then I looked around again.

"He's upstairs resting. You can visit her later. I'm sure she will be happy."

Dad said, then went to the mini bar. He took two glasses and a bottle of whiskey from the display.

"Are you ready to manage a company?"

Dad asked me, then handed me a glass of whiskey. I drank that wine before answering Dad's question.

"I will only do that for Mom."

I spoke and then looked at Dad. He smiled, which surprised me because I had no memory of h
