Accident Prone Area Ahead.

Drive carefully.

The road sign informs her that she will pass by an accident-prone area. She slows down her speed for her and the life inside her womb. She taps her stomach and talks to it as if it will understand her.

"Don't worry, baby. Mommy will drive carefully for the both of us."

She focuses her eyes on the road. As she passed the accident-prone highway, she let out a sigh.

The doctor told her to be careful as always from now on. Her pregnancy could be delicate if she won't take things slow. Including her work, she needs to take a rest from it.

She smiled as she remembered the OB-Gyne had told her earlier. That it would be great if she stayed with someone who could care for her. Her boyfriend was the first thing that came into her mind.

The father of her child.

She reached for her phone and excitedly dialed the number of her boyfriend.

"Honey? Where are you? I've been trying to call you, but your phone is out of reach."

She can sense a worriedness in his tone. She smiled.

"Relax, honey. I just attended my appointment for today."

She cheerfully explained.

"Oh, so how was it? And what appointment is it?"

Curiousness filled in his voice.

"Well, it turned out great."

She said while giggling.

"I am curious, come on, tell me, what is it?

She was about to answer her boyfriend when she noticed something in her rear mirror. There is a car following her.

She tried to observe for a moment, but then it turned left while she turned right. She shrugged her shoulders and thought that she was wrong about it.

"Honey? Are you still there?"

Her boyfriend asks with certainty.

"Oh, yes, sorry."

She replied.

"So, what is it all about? The appointment?"

She smiled again as if her boyfriend could see it.

"Try to make a guess, honey."

She teasingly said.

"Hmm, is it about work? A friend? Can you tell me?"

Her boyfriend tried to guess, but none of it was correct.

"Try to guess more."

She replied as she turned the car right.

"Come on, just tell me, please."

Her boyfriend begs.

She was about to laugh when she averted her eyes on her rear mirror. A sudden nervousness covered her system when she saw the car again; this time, it multiplied. Two cars were following her, but still, she needed to figure it out.

She tried to calm herself when she felt her breath become heavy.

"Honey? Are you alright?"

Her boyfriend asks with concern. She turned left this time and saw the two cars were gone. She felt relieved.

"Well, I visited an OB-Gyne earlier."

She said while smiling and trying to divert her attention to calm herself.

"Really? Why did you not tell me? So is there a piece of good news?"

She chuckles at her boyfriend's constant questions. Hearing those makes her heart happy. It

proves her boyfriend was excited and could be more satisfied when he heard the news.

"Well, I want to surprise you. And yes, there is good news."

She said,

"Okay, so what is it?"

She could hear his excited tone, which made her smile.

"You are going to be a father, honey. Congratulations."

She said happily. The other became quiet for a few minutes, and then she heard a sudden noise. Her boyfriend was happily shouting because of the news.

"Honey, this is the best news I have ever heard."

She laughed and was about to say something when her car was suddenly hit at the left part. She was alarmed.

The car which had been following her earlier hit her vehicle. And it made her more worried when another car showed up on the right side of her car.

The two cars hit her car, which made her a bit hysterical.

"What's that noise, honey? Are you alright?"

She can't utter a word. She can't even calm down. She was about to talk when the car from the right hit her car, which made her frantic.

"Please, stop it."

She pleaded, but it never listened to her.

The window of the car from the left side rolled down. It was a man. A scary one. He smiles at her and gives her a creepy feeling.

"Honey?!"

She came back to her senses when she heard her boyfriend's raising voice on the other line.

"H-honey, there a-are two.... two guys riding from two different cars."

She said while trembling. She was terrified because the two men continued to hit her car.

"What about them? Honey?"

Worriedness filled her boyfriend's voice.

"They keep hitting my car."

Then a sudden loud noise came from her car's left part, making her joggle in the driver's seat.

"Please, stop it. I'm pregnant."

She hysterically shouted at the two guys, but they just laughed at her and then continued hitting her car. Her mind was foggy, and she couldn't think straight because of what was happening.

"Honey!"

She once came back into reality.

"Stop your car."

Her boyfriend said, almost shouting on the line. She hit the break of her car, but nothing happened.

"Honey, my car doesn't have a break!"

She shouted as tears started to run down her cheeks. She felt helpless.

"Honey, just keep on driving and calm yourself, okay? I'm coming for you."

She shook her head. The collision of the cars makes her more frightened.

"Honey, always remember... I love you."

She blurted out.

"Honey, please don't be like that. I'll be there. Wait for me."

She shook her head and closed her eyes. She started reminiscing about her happy memories with her boyfriend.

"Honey ..."

That was the last thing her boyfriend heard before a loud crash came.

The line got disconnected.

She slowly opened her eyes. Fire shrouded her, and fear crept into her system.

She sensed a lot of injury in her body as she tried to move. There is a lot of scattered glass with

blood on it. Even though she wanted help, her eyes felt tired.

She was about to close her eyes when she saw someone.

She was standing a few meters off.

And she was staring at her with a big smile on her face.
