CHAPTER 9

Amari's Point of View

I can still see the elevator where that man entered. I could not get out of my mind the thought that he was looking for me. I also feel different whenever I see him. It felt like I had known him for a long time, but I was unsure where or when we met.

I know he is the guy I was on the plane with when I was on my way here to New York, and that was recently. But it seemed that I had known him for a long time, but I knew I had seen him for the first time on the plane.

"Fleur?"

I returned to reality and looked at Patrizia, who had been calling me.

"You seemed in deep thought, I've been speaking word for word here, and you're not listening. Who is the lucky person?"

Patrizia asked while grinning at me. I frowned at the last thing she said that made her laugh.

"Don't tell me Mr. Pervert occupied it?"

I was stunned by what she said. I can't deny that Patrizia is right. She knows me so well that even when I think, she can guess it.

"Why should I think of him?"
