I left Enzo in charge of little Bryan, even though he'd stirred trouble at my club that brought Torrento to my doorstep, I couldn't ignore the fact that he was just a kid and he'd been used.

I was a monster but I do not prey on the innocent, but I definitely have no problem crushing those who do especially when said innocent are put up against me. We did a little digging after Bryan's teary confession. His mother was stricken with stage one lung cancer and needed urgent treatment. Aside from his mother, he also had a younger sister to look after, thus his desperate act that led to this shenanigan.

And we found out that the goons who'd assigned Bryan his job were Romano's low-ranking hooligans. I should have known but I had a lot of enemies, anyone could have done it. But this time Romano wasn't directly involved and they'd thought if they snagged a major job from their boss's arch nemesis they could go up the ranks—we’d caught a few of them and Enzo drew their confessions out of
