EIGHTY FOUR

"Hey." He said as he picked up the phone, he contemplated on if he would actually pick up the call but he knew if he didn't, for sure. Zeke would get the wrong impression and he wouldn't want that.

"Hi, you called." Zeke said on the phone in a plain tone. "Oh I must have dialled it, when I realised it, I hung up." He lied to Zeke as he explained in a way that seemed convincing.

"Oh okay, that's not a problem, I hope your phone isn't cracked." Zeke cracked a joke that Alex didn't find funny.

"Oh it's not, thankfully." He replied and they laughed it off

"It was just a pocket mistake and nothing more.' He added Zeke could be sure and not get it mixed up.

"Alright." Zeke said as he hung up. Alex raised his eyebrows up and got back to work.

"Totally unnecessary." He blamed himself.

"I should call some business owners and propose a partnership, I mean my company is doing so well at the moment and it wouldn't do anyone harm right?" He asked himself a question as he held his phone.
