40. MOVING ON.

"Achoo!" Ashley sneezed as she stood in front of the mirror. She rubbed her nose and blinked her watery eyes before looking at herself in the mirror again. She was so tired and weak, she needed to rest but she knew that doing that was only going to make her condition worsen. She had stayed home for about three days since the night of *rejection* so she just wanted to go to school. She was missing a lot and she needed to make her papers to graduate.

It's been three days since she last spoke to Alex or Jonathan. The memory from that night still haunted her and made her feel depressed. She just wanted to sleep perhaps wake up the next day only to find herself at the very beginning of the school's party. Maybe she would be able to change her luck by not bumping into him.
