It all began in the heavens, with total darkness. Then, a flick of light appeared revealing a tiny magical flower possessing life and great powers. Every season, it blossoms and sheds; breeding gods of different abilities. Until one day it bore a wind force. That was the beginning of evil. To curb the great evil gone rogue, another greater god emerged, born of the same flower that held the universe up on its feet and gave it, it's form. History called him “The sick god”. His internal energy was too much that it made him sick and he searched for what to create to relieve himself. He made the magical kingdom of kings; from two third of his powers still, he could not help himself. He needed love to make him complete.
Off he wandered to the nearest inhabitant planet where he met smaller gods seeking shelter from the wind force; an evil seeking to devour the soul. To all the planets he saved, he gathered together; they made up the kingdom of kings and he ruled them. Years after the kingdom of kings was established, he fell in love with the daughter of water, Lula. And she gave him an heir, a son. And that was how the kingdom of kings continued. Each heir gave an heir, a son. And each son, an heir. After millenniums, the kingdom passed down to king Eeran and his queen Rowena. But something went wrong. Having been influenced by the wind force, the beast gods refused to be ruled and rebelled against the kingdom. Stealing the orb of secret of the kingdom of kings, they held the kingdom to it's knees. The orb contained the power and the secrets that formed the kingdom. The past kings had to arise and join forces to put an end to the dark force of Xox. With the orb of secret back in it's place, the kingdom became at peace. King Eeran decided to make sure such chaos never arises again by giving every smaller god a due position in the kingdom. Some he made commander of millions, thousands and hundreds. Among them were a god Ammo'na who was commander of four thousand. As he fought wars against the beasts of Xox, his wife Kah'lan who was commander of a thousand, fought alongside with him. After the Xox war was won and the beasts were eliminated, the planets were in ruin. Orders came from King Eeran that all existing planets should be melted down and recreated since there were presence of evil that might reborn the Xox beasts. But Kah'lan saved a magical flower from being destroyed. In exchange for her kindness, the flower shed and dissipated all of it's energy into Kah'lan, so that she became the flower goddess. Making the child in her womb resistant to every magical powers that ever existed, even that of the creators. The intention of the magical flower was to free itself from the possession of any god. For who so ever harvests it, could holds the power of the universe in his hands. Disguised as a common plant, it found the right vessel, the unborn child. That child would be the power and the genesis of the world, where it all began. Years after Dah'ila was born, the Kingdom of Kings feared she might conquer and dominate the Universe since no powers could contend with her's. They made her commander of millions in order to satisfy and rid her of every inordinate, and domineering desires. And her father, they made commander of ten thousand. Sooner than anyone saw it coming, Dah'ila and the handsome heir of the kingdom fell deeply in love. And love being the most powerful magic ever known, subdued her and quenched her thirst of longing for tranquility and true acceptance, since she was too feared and reverend to find her match. Their love blossomed, bringing peace throughout the universe. Until a time came for them to be married. It was discovered that the keeper of the Orb was dead and the Orb of secret was missing. The where about was discovered, that it was stolen by one of the descendants of the Xox planet who swore to continue the quest of this ancestors to the throne. He transformed the Orb to the opposite of it's true nature as he planned to use it to control the minds of the Kings. But the orb could not control the mind of it's masters, but corrupted the minds of smaller gods; there was war in the heavens again. Converting the powers of the Orb, As'ula became Xox master. No immortal could vie with him, for even the creators feared him because, he had the secret to their powers. As'ula waged war against the heavens and many gods lost their lives and internal energy to As'ula who fed on them to refine his dark energy. Dah'ila knew that no one but her could put an end to the new Xox King, for she was the only one resistant to all powers. As'ula was caged in the empty and Dah'ila, having exhausted so much energy, was ripped apart by the same spell which she caged As'ula with. And forever she was lost. But the kingdom of kings enjoyed peace once again. The Orb was hidden very far from immortals reach, locked by the most experienced kings with the secret formation of nine chains, never to be found again. The kingdom advanced in wisdom and power, but the king’s heir Zula'an was shattered because of the death of his lover. So he lived for centuries refusing to ascend the throne of his fathers, for he was never the same. The kings gathered to ask “Choose a realm to establish your kingdom” “Earth!” he replied. He needed a realm far from his kingdom, in order to pull away the memories of Dah'ila, but it was impossible. As time went by, darkness ate into his heart. "The curse" so he regarded it. The only thing that kept him sane was the thought of earth. He had to keep it safe because of his helpless choice. The creators were forced to cast on him, a condition to compel him to keep his sworn duty of protection to earth. They made his flesh the same as the soil. And his heart, same as the sun. He became earth! By this, he would learn to love again and care for something, knowing that his immortality depends on it.On earth, he gained fame, wealth and all one could ever need to lead a happy life. But he was angry, shattered and torn. He kept himself isolated in the dark. He is the night roamer, protector of earth and the beloved idol of millions. PRESENTLY“Wake up! It’s your first day at work, better don’t be late!” Katy yelled, bringing the alarm close to her ear. Lia pushed her aside and stands up sluggishly, dragging her feet as she heads to the bathroom. “Cold water again?” She murmured as she pushed the shower button. She got admitted into the university last week; she knew she needed money to make it work. Two days ago, she got a job from one of the job sites she stumbled upon as a house keeper. She was selected, interviewed, and followed by the resumption date, Monday, eight o'clock am.As the shower flushed down the soapy foams on her hair, so many thoughts ran through her mind like what to wear, what to do with her hair, and all the girls stuff. As she contemplated, Katy’s voice br
It was a bright and sunny morning. The entire school yard blazed with noises and busy feet of people, finding their ways to their deal of the day. Some engaged in different sporting activities, while others piled up in different corners having fun. Lia made her way to class, selecting her footsteps timidly as she walked. She could tell all eyes were scanning oddly at her, as she wandered confusedly from one school building to another, looking for the DEAN's office in-between building which looked pretty much alike. Everything seemed quite different from high school, only a few persons noticed the new girl in class. After few days of studying the environment, she noticed there were four categories of people in the school “The rude guys, the rich guys, the popular guys and the quiet guys" often referred to as the scapegoat. “Really, things aren't too different from high school after all, just some few matured faces and things done a little bit in an advanced way” she thought with a
As she walks into class, the strange guy of few days ago was seated not too far from the window. Of course, that was his regular position. She tried not to look and pretend he wasn't there at all, at least for once in her life. But her eyes would not cooperate, she failed herself as her eyes were constantly drifting and lurking around him, paying attention to every details about him. When she accidentally made eye contact with him, she shivered with fright and averted her gaze as fast as she could. But the weird feelings in her heart were not exempted from this, It was as if time froze, trapping her in the ensnarement of those cold and ruthless eyes of his, like a spell. In as much as she wanted to retain the beautiful memory of their eye contact locked in her head, she could vividly remember the dangers she saw in those eyes. That one contact, yet it was so piercing and domineering, like he intends to push her into his submission with those stares.“He is always staring at me, but
She shopped for some Allium bulbs, coupled with some other necessary stuffs to ward off the malicious auras, hovering all about the mansion. As she hesitates, looking for more useful things to buy, she stumbles upon a woman with red hair and awkward looks. Without difficulties, one could tell from her tattered appearance that she was ....! Lia paused and stared at the woman, looking for the best word to categorize her, Insane or weird wouldn't be too much to call her. She quickly apologizes for the collision, and was about to proceed her way, when the weird and tattered woman grabs on to her wrist. Then, leans in and whispers something to Lia."Do you think this meeting was a coincidence?" She asks unexpectedly. Without waiting for Lia's response, she answers her own question. "No, it is not! It couldn't be, for nothing happens out of the ordinary! The path which you must follow has been predetermined, as well as this fated meeting which has been mapped out today. But do not fret
The next day after school, she snuck into the mansion and opens the door, even if her key card fell from her a couple of times, because of her trembling hands. Walking into the kitchen, she patrolled around it quietly, waiting for the anticipated ghost to make an entrance. As she did this, she blended the garlic and sprinkled it all over the windows and doors. She did not forget to toss some bulbs into the tall flowers and the fields. There after, she sits confidently and awaits the result, with her focus fixed on the restricted areas. But after thirty minutes of waiting in futility, she couldn't help but laugh at her silly self. What was she even doing? Could she be able to fish out a ghost or a demon with just some few bulbs of garlic and a gas spray? She thought, stuck in the middle of her fruitless plan, not knowing whether to continue or abort. "Maybe Katy was right, i am the one being weird here. Engaging in a battle with nothing but the other silly, scared me; is a glaring s
A shivering feeling clouded her all through the day. There were a lot of questions she had no answers to, like why she was only seeing him for the first time since she worked in the mansion, and why he was so gorgeous, representing everything beautiful, but sadly indifferent. She wanders far away in thought, with her expressions boldly evident on her face.“Miss Michaelson? Explain to us the meaning of lithosphere?” Mr Cobbler's voice echoed, knowing fully well that her mind was far from the class.“Ahm… Me?” she asks, pointing back at herself. The entire class nosily fixed their gaze on her, making her flash out an awkward smile. Her legs trembled from beneath her seat as many anticipating eyes scans at her impatiently. She had just gathered the courage to speak when the strange guy walks into the class, making the whole situation more complicated than it was. Two things were involved; she had to either gather her guts to surf through the situation by answering the question, o
After classes was dismissed for the day, before anyone could tie her down with chained conversations, she dashed out of the class and heads to the school gate. She was about to board a cab to the mansion when she discovers that her key card to the mansion was no longer in her bag. “Oh no! This can not be happening. How am I suppose to get inside without the key card?" She panicks, turning the contents in her bag all over on the floor, she did not regard how people stared at her with weird expressions on their faces. Every other thing faded in her sight as she contemplates for a while, trying to recall where she might have forgotten it. Just when she was finally giving up every hope of finding it, her mind travels back to the library where she has been for almost half the day. "It is five o'clock pm, the school library would probably be locked by now" She whimpers sadly, but resolves to try anyway, who knows? luck may smile on her. “Can I help you miss?” The library's securi
Lia sits by the fields thinking of how much time it took her to ruin her perfect opportunity. But she didn't want to blame herself that much. If it wasn't for the rigidness of that weird man, she wouldn't have been stuck in this confusing state. She was not even sure, if his 'get out' meant that she was fired or she was temporally on hold for her lateness. But she has to confirm one way or another. As soon as she sees him going towards his car, she goes up to him before he could climb into his car "I need to be sure if am fired or not?" She asks with boldness. He turns and stares at the curious young lady without a word. And then, he climbs into his car and slams the door to her face. "Why don't you find out when you come to the mansion tomorrow? But then, you should know your limits. Never should you confront me like this, ever again, housekeeper!" He said indifferently and drives off, leaving Lia humiliated by his words. Seconds after he drives off, Mr Sebastian calls."Are you ou
