AT THE PORT

Hot and windy afternoon. Andaman Port was busy.

Standford Universe-3 is approaching Jetty No.4.

 Russian captain Siemens is instructed by walkie-talkie to prepare for mooring.

 The ship approaches the jetty.

Gangway fixed.

It's just past noon.

The Captain, chief mate, and chief engineer is very busy on the bridge.

Admin Tajuddin prepares the personnel list of who wants to go shopping.

 On this ship, there is a chance to go shopping for a day or a night while approaching the harbor.

Stanford Universe-3 is a Subsea Cable Laying Ship. Will do  Subsea pipeline works also. It is also a diving vessel. Most of the project crew are English Afrikaans. Ship crews are mostly Indonesians, Filipinos, and Indians. Seven floors starting from the main deck to the bridge. Above the main deck are the mess hall and hospital. The first, second, and third floors are accommodations. 6th floor helideck, 6th survey room, 7th bridge.This is the general outline of this ship. There is a Gym on the First Floor.

The mess hall and accommodation are very luxurious. You will not feel tired of marine life in this.

This is a Large ship—good internet connectivity in all rooms. Indian, Pak, Indonesian and Continental dishes are always available in the mess hall. All kinds of fruits are available. Unlimited serving.

A happy silence filled the bridge. Contentment. There is no one on the main deck. The gangway is empty.
