Chapter 53

Naunet's pov

I sat on my bed feeling really heavy and tired .

Tamara had stepped out to get me some fruits and Asim wasn't back from the forest with the children .

That has been his daily routine , taking the children out to the forest and spending time with them.I could tell that he was training to become a great father to our son , and I couldn't be more proud.

I placed my hand on my bump, caressing it softly and thinking about what my child was going to look like ,me or Asim or both ,it would be amazing .

"Aunt Nanuet ,I heard my name close by and it was Tyler's voice .

He suddenly ran into my tent ,with sweat all over his face and he was panicking ,soon the other children all started trooping in with faces that made my heart beat faster than normal .

I searched around but didn't find Asim and I gulped nervously sweat forming on my head .

"Aunt Naunet it's uncle Asim , he's in the forest , he's dying ,he got beaten by a snake , Tyler said breathing heavily
