CHAPTER 63

Alexia's eyes widened. She wanted to ask why they had to go tonight but before she could ask, the witch queen dragged her out of her bed and soon, they were walking across Harriet's backyard. Alexia could see a dark mist covering the air.

"That is the portal between the dark fairies and the light fairies." Amanda swiftly explained.

Both women walked over to the dark mist and walked through it. When Alexia walked in at first, she could not see. The place was different from the light fairies' territory. It was dark and Alexia wondered if this part of the realm experienced sunlight.

Though it was dark, Amanda seemed to know where they were going and she held Alexia's hand and led her. After a long while, Alexia too could see, the place was like a forest, there were tall trees everywhere and a dim light in each house, just enough for someone to see around the house.
