The dwarfs are caught with the stars, and they are confiscated from them. But the dwarfs and the regular sized man say some spells and disappear before anything can actually be done to them. 

Noelle insists that the moon and stars are returned though, before anything else happens to them. Although the great book of spells is actually missing, Noelle knows the words by heart because they were so catchy and caught her attention as far back as childhood, when she recited them as poetry for a talent competition. She did not win, but everyone had appreciated how much it must have taken her to learn such complex Latin. 

Noelle, the Prince and Scarlett, still in The Prince's body, showed up in fellowship for the final spell to return the moon and stars back to Moonilia and right every wrong. As Noelle carries out all the necessary rituals and starts reciting the spells, Scarlett leaves the Prince's body. <
