The room fell into a deafning silence after that and Nora couldn't help but almost instantly realize her mistake. She shouldn't have pressured him into that. She wanted to take it back and she feared that now that she had pushed him he would revert back to the brooding alpha he had been before he had left.

She didn't want to experience that and so she chose to refrain herself from speaking on it any further. “I am sorry i didn't mean to upset you.” She said in a mutter and she finished up her plate.

He still hadn't answered but after a monents he seemed to snap out of his face as he let out a sigh from his lips. He lowered his shoulders before turning to her. “It isn't your fault." he muttered and that's all he said but she could feel as though there was more to the words that he hadn't already told her.

They finished the rest of their meal in complete silence as she found herself wandering off loosely through her own thoughts. She didn't know what it was that was running through her
