111. DARKER DAYS PART II

We fought until the sun rose, blood coating every part of me. I looked left then right and there were no rogues in sight. My chest was pushing up and down, heaving with the rain having been pouring for hours. Blood ran through the ground, running down. I walked from body to body, staring down at those that I had paralyzed in nothing but pain. They screamed and cried, begging for mercy but why. I stared into all their faces, thinking I would find awful men with rotten teeth but they looked just like normal men; men that had children, men that had mates. There were boys, young beautiful boys, females too that were so beautiful you would be fooled. I could not take it, could not bare seeing how such people could be so vile. I took a breath, hours of suffering enough and when that breath was released the air fell silent.

It was silence that was so deafening. After the hours of screaming and begging the silence was like a curse, a curse hanging over my head and I would take it.

I’m love how she’s taking charge and holding the family and packs together while all the tragedies of loss life and war just keep happening. She has become a true leader and very capable of defending her family! I hope all the packs will come to love and care for her the way she does for them
