DRACO’S POV Ever since Prince Klaux came back to the palace, Helena had been all smiles. I didn’t expect him to just forget and forgive what happened to our parents easily, like that, but given how free and pure he was, he never blamed Helena for the sins of her parents and instead accepted her as if nothing ever happened. How he was able to put that past him was still a mystery because he was the one that almost died with our parents during that time. He almost cried his eyeballs out, he kept fainting and waking up for days and I was scared that he might actually die. The elder of the eight tribe, Damon, was fully dressed up for the Alpha’s birthday party when one of his servants rushed in to inform him about the arrival of his goods. Since the eighth tribe were known for their influence in the trading association, they were the tribe in charge of importing goods into the pack and the Elder controls everything that is being brought in. His own goods had been delayed for months and upon hearing the news that they had finally arrived, he pushed back the party to attend to the merchants before anything else. Everyone present was surprised at the way Alpha Draco acted towards the news of the Luna collapsing. It is no news that they weren’t getting along, but her being in that state does call for his attention. Chief Kinn wanted to go in regardless of the command he gave, but Beta Gray stopped her. “What happened to the Luna? Why did she collapse?” he questioned, and the lady turned to answer him. “She came in contact with the virus” she responded, hesitantly. His eyes bulged at the response, “She came in contact with the virus? How?” he could wrap his head around the information being passed to him. Chief Kinn sighed “I don’t know the content of the story but she’s in a critical condition”, she added, and bowed her head slowly. “I will talk to him, please attend to her first”, he assured her, and she left with a heavy heart. She has always been rational and protective of the palace in general, so she didn’t pick a side between the queen and the Alpha, but this situation was different.

Immediately Amy took over, she extended the working hours of the maids to twelve at midnight instead of ten in the night. She made sure that the kitchen made food over and over to her own taste and satisfaction. “There should be no food for the Luna’s quarters. Tell the maid to come down here and prepare the food herself”, she instructed. “You cannot do that, Luna is sick and the only attendant she has is taking care of her. The food should be sent to her quarters”. Chief Kinn tackled her only to be met with a hot slap. Everyone was shocked. She moved closer, “Do I look like I was seeking your opinion? I am the one in charge here, so do as I said before, I have you beaten to shreds!” she gritted, her anger boiling every second.
