83. TRUST ME

HELENA’S POV

Everyone was happy that I was finally awake after a long week and the Alpha instructed the kitchen to throw me a mini-feast.

“Whatever she wants should be cooked for her with immediate effect. Nothing should be left undone for her, take care of all her orders with optimum care and swiftness”, he ordered, and the maids had no choice but to agree with him.

“Why are you putting so much pressure on them? It’s not like I can eat more than my stomach”, I argued, but he shook his head.

“You deserve everything” he declared, and I gave him a suspicious side eye.

“What do you mean by that line? You are being cheesy for no reason”, I attacked, and the Alpha sighed in frustration.

He moved closer to where I was attending to the flowers by the window and let out a small cough.

“Helena, are you still going to continue this way? Don’t you think it’s high time I was forgiven?” he carefully asked, and my hands paused.
