We took the next flight back to the pack the morning after Theo called to say he was on his way back. I wanted to stay behind since there wasn't anything particularly exciting to go back to, but I followed anyway. We were about to board when Cecil's phone pinged.

I turned to her, asking, “Who is it?”

She looked at her phone for a moment and smiled, a hint of blush creeping into her cheeks. Before she replied, “It's Theo. He’s at my place, waiting. Earlier, we planned to go on a date once he got back. He’s just reminding me”

I had initially wanted to spend the night at her place, but after hearing about her date with Theo, I didn't want to be a third wheel. So I decided that I was going to spend a few hours at Luxury before heading home.

When the plane landed, I asked Zara to go home first. I then waved Cecil goodbye as the driver Theo sent came to pick her up. I got into my own car and drove to Luxury despite feeling jetlagged. It was almost night, so no one was there. I tried
