17: FOUND

     It was deep at night after Eve left Lucas's room. She was so tired. both physically and emotionally. She was also so scared when she saw him lying on the ground with a wound in his abdomen. Thus, she was knocked to sleep the moment she was embraced by the mattress.

     However, in the midst of her deep sleep, she was jolted by a loud rattle coming from the room next to hers. it’s as if furniture’s or tools were being thrown to the wall or to the floor.

     “Lucas…” she immediate muttered, realizing he’s the one living on the room next to hers. without even fixing herself, not even wearing anything over her nightgown or slipping in her slippers, she run towards his room.

     “Lucas! Lucas!” she was hysterically yelling, pounding the door as hard as she can. She was worried those men had came back and hurt him again.
