The night was successful, or maybe not; everything was fine until I decided to be on my own. I felt like I needed to talk to Leo before I went home. I ran all around looking for him, but I couldn’t find him. Emily was nowhere to be found either, and I felt like I just needed to go home. Then it dawned on me that I still had a key to his grandparent's house, and he permitted me to chill at his place whenever I felt like I needed some space to myself.

I went back home as fast as I could and changed into something cozier. Dad was still not around, so I left him a note telling him where I was going, took the key, and hailed a cab. It didn’t take long before I got to his grandparent's house; it was just like the last time I was there with him.

Since I didn’t have so much to do, I decided to call Emily. The phone rang four times before she picked it up.

“Hey, I have been looking all over for you; what’s up?” I said almost immediately.

“I am good. I looked all over for you, but yo
