DOMINIC POV

"Umm.. How long was I gone??" she whispers

Now its my turn to hesitate, "Seraphina, you were gone for nearly a year and a half. I'm sorry we couldn't find you sooner."

She pales and leans up against the counter I get up to my feet and was by her side within a second, I put my arm around her waist so she wouldn't fall to the floor.

"Dominic I have been gone for so long, how.."

"Shh.. Shh.. Its okay, they may be young but they understand." I says as I pull her into my chest she tenses just a little but then relaxes into my arms.

I don't know why but she then pulls out of my arms and runs back upstairs to the bedroom. I turn to go after her when Nathaniel walks up to me and tugs on my hand, I bend down and face him as he says "Father let me go after mother please."

I nod and allow him to follow Seraphina upstairs to the bedroom. I wait a little while and then follow him up the stairs as well, I get to the door and hear him ta
