I felt it.. I'm sure Phoenix felt it too, having the blood bond with Seraphina means we know where she is but we can also feel if something happens to her. And the more emotionally attached the people involved are the more they feel. I know Phoenix feels some things from her but I got to know her and spent more time with her, I was with her from when she woke up from the attack and we became fast friends.
