CHAPTER 108 - THE PROMISE

“He's lying!” A voice echoed intensely through the room, jolting me awake. Standing at the door, Agatha wore a stern expression.

“Who's lying, the Alpha?” I arched my eyebrows, pulling my arm away from my companion, who grumbled, squeezing me tighter in his lazy embrace. His simple touch sent shivers down my spine.

I bit my lip, shifting my gaze to my sister, who approached with a sinister expression.

“He's irresistible and charming, but don't be fooled... It's all tricks!” She spoke, staring at him, revealing sadness in her eyes.

“You still miss him!” I concluded, sighing. “You still love him.”

Agatha widened her eyes and, analyzing me, smiled weakly.

“That's the most dangerous power he possesses... Make us love, only to destroy us later!” She stepped back, stopping at the door and speaking over her shoulder. “Don't be fooled, my sister, he will hurt you and destroy you.”

Growling, the Alpha woke up, sitting up and staring at me while sniffing the air.

“Agatha!” He roared impatiently
