"Where's Ezra?"

“Morning Milla.” Felix grinned broadly as he stared at the dining table.

“It's even time for lunch. You're clearly making fun of me, aren't you?" Mila snorted indignantly.

She had just finished taking a shower. She was soaking in the warm water for almost an hour because she overslept for a few minutes in the bathroom. The warm water relaxed her and she couldn't resist the temptation to fall asleep. She just woke up when she felt her body getting cold and she didn't even realize that her skin was wrinkled from being exposed to water for too long. She panicked a bit as she came out of the bathroom, then quickly got dressed. She thought Ezra would be angry because she took so long to take a bath. But when she went downstairs, she didn't find Ezra anywhere. Instead, she only found Felix in the kitchen, preparing lunch.
