SEVENTY SEVEN

Nothing had Hunter so excited as the days before his parents had died. The days lately have always passed with lethargy without passion. But suddenly today Hunter is very excited to start his usually boring day. This morning he had news from the chief of police that the results of their investigation were starting to shed light. The chief wanted Hunter to come see him at the police station because they needed to have a serious talk before moving on to anything more serious.

He drove at high speed from his house to the police station. He repeatedly honked at the grocery trucks moving slowly in front of him or at people who got in his way because he wanted to get to the police station quickly. He had a feeling he would get some good news today. If the chief of police had not come up with a name, he would not have summoned him and planned to continue with the investigation.
