1.Getting Wasted

Stephy's POV

I sat nervously at the hospital Lobby and waited for Hayley my big sister to come out of the doctor's office.We had just gone for my checkup as usual but this time around, it was her alone that the doctor wanted to talk to.

After 10 minutes of waiting that felt like eternity, Hayley came out of the office and she did not look well. She walked towards me and sat right next to me putting on a plastic smile then caught my hands but I knew something was very serious.

“ How much time do I have left?”I asked her

“Don't worry Steph, I'm going to find a way and you will live” she replied ignoring my question.

“How much time do I have left to live Hayley?” I asked again I was tired of her damn assurance and whatever came, I had to face it.

“Six months to be exact Stephy but I swear I'm going to find a way. I'm going to get the money for the surgery and it will all be okay I promise”she said 

The moment she said this, I felt like my life was fading away and there was no way I was getting out of it.Tears blurred my vision and they eventually started to fall down my cheeks with me not even making a single sound.

I was diagnosed with a very serious heart problem since I was 17 and my sister was doing everything she could just to give me the treatment that I needed and by this time she was drained and all she could get at the moment was our meal and rent I was tired of making her suffer. And for me to ever get out of this alive, we needed a real fortune something we did not have which meant that I had to be wiped off the face of this Earth.

“You have done enough Hayley and I'm so grateful for that but I think you should stop you need to have a life of your own”

“Do you even hear yourself? We have to keep fighting, we can't just give up. I'm not going to give up on you and I'll make sure that you survive this.You'll see, all this will be a distant memory and we will just talk and laugh about it later”she said

“Can we just go home pleas? I'm tired of this Hospital” was all I could answer.She then let out a sigh then got up and headed back to our apartment.

The moment I reached home all I wanted to do was to lay in my bed and Hayley did not object.She prepared for me the the meal recommended by the doctor but what was the point of eating all these vegetables yet at the end of the day I was going to die? I couldn't even get a nice meal just because it was oily or the fact that there was some fats in it, something that wasn't good for my heart.

I guess this was my fate and it was time for me to meet Mom and Dad.Perhaps that would be a better place than this earth.

After making sure that I was all set, Hayley left for her night shift at the restaurant and I was left alone at the house. I was tired of thinking and crying and for once in my lifetime, I wanted to get wild and do whatever it is I've never done before because soon I would be no more.

I picked the phone and called my friend Lola who I asked to pick me up. “I still can't believe my ears Stephy, you're not into this kind of things what just got into yo”she asked

“I just want to know how it feels like to get wasted and happy and just focus on what is happening at the place at the same time ignoring all my problems”

“And what will Hayley say when she finds out?” Lola asked 

“Well, who said that I have to tell Hayley? I really don't think she needs to know and I'm an adult for fucksake”I replied

“Well you are starting to be interesting girl. There is this one place I know is for corporate people but the DJ there happens to be my friend, he got me some tickets though I was going to sell them but since you want to go out then let's use them ourselves”She said with a squeal

We then passed by her place, she picked up the tickets and we headed to this one good looking Club.

Everything inside was so new to me but Lola knew everything taking place.She then led me to the counter where we started ordering drinks and at this point, I was just trying out everything since all this was new to me and I didn't have a specific drink in mind. Lola reached a point where she got worried but I wasn't going back. I took the drinks and I started feeling the kind of happiness I had never felt before my head started getting heavy but I wanted more. And since Lola had offered to pay for everything, I decided to drink as much as I could.

At some point, I lost sight of Lola. I don't know how but I looked around but I couldn't find her and I really needed to pee. I asked the bartender to give me direction and he pointed to the left side. I staggered and made my way to the restrooms unfortunately it didn't take me long to find them when I was done I staggered out.

As I tried to make my way back to where I came from, something caught my eye.This place must have been the cleanest club ever.I looked at the hallway which was filled with rooms left and right and decided to take a little walk I wanted to see what was inside and as I walked I kept touching the knobs but the rooms were locked until I touched this one door that clicked open.

At first I picked in but I wanted to take a clear view of the place so I entered there was no one in the living room but the place looked like those I had seen in the movies.

“Hello, anybody Here?” I called but got no reply. I called again but nobody answered.

The living room looked fancy that I started to wonder if I wasn't dreaming I went ahead to check out the bedroom and still it was empty. It was four times the size of my bedroom.

‘I guess this wasn't booked’.

I looked at the bed and it was so inviting.This looked nothing like the one I had at home I wanted to at least know how it it felt if my body was on this bed so I lay there and I swear it felt like I was floating. It Felt Like Heaven on earth and I got too comfortable that I could not even get up.

Waking up, I realized that I wasn't in my bed and that I wasn't alone in the bed. I looked around to see a guy sleeping next to me and quickly looked at myself only to realize that I had nothing on me accept the bed sheets and so did the guy. ‘God what had I done?

I hastily got up. It was then that the memories of last night came flooding to me though in a blur but before I got the time to think I felt like I wanted to throw up. I rushed to the bathroom and I puked until it fell like my intestines were coming out next.When I was done, I quickly cleaned myself, picked up my stuff then headed out of the room without other guy even noticing something I was grateful for.

Marcel's POV

The day had been a hectic one at the office and I needed to breathe a different kind of of air. I didn't want to go home, there was nothing more to look at accept all the familiar faces of my guards or even my family. I called Steve and asked him to book me a room at one of the best in the area but ask him not to do it in my name or his because my family was so annoying and being an heir of the Griffith family, they wanted to know where I was and what I was doing all the time but today, I didn't want none of them to follow me .

I ordered the guards to go but they were hesitant and after me threatening to take away their jobs, they agreed and left I knew they would follow me so I exchanged my car with one of my employees.They didn't even notice that I left. When I reached the club, I took I desired amount of beer and when it felt like I had had enough, I headed to the room booked for me by my friend. Fortunately, everything was just the way I ordered it. It was already opened and since it wasn't me who booked it or had anything to do with it swiping cards they weren't going to find out where I was going to spend the night today.

Everything was just the way I expected it except for one thing there was a woman lying on my bed.Steven was stupid but he knew one thing that I was not into this kind of thing. I didn't like women.Why would he buy me a woman for a night, I fished out my phone from the pocket and dialed his number but he wasn't picking up.

I tried to wake the girl up but she wasn't moving.I wanted her out of my room like ASAP. Looking at her, she didn't seem like some of these girls that work at the club and she just looked so fragile and natural she didn't have these layers makeup that other females I always came across had and she caught my attention.

As I pulled her from a bed,I realized that she couldn't even stand straight.She just hugged me and I wouldn't say that I had the best of stamina at the moment. I was now confused and didn't know what to do with her. I shook her trying to get her attention but she was looking at something else.

“Youuu aaare so cuute”She said sounding so drunk.

I couldn't help but laugh at her and before I knew it I felt her lips on mine. I don't know what came over me but I lost control and ended up in bed with this woman.
