The following morning, Faith sashayed to the doorstep of her boss' room. She knocked gently and waited for his reply. When she heard nothing, she gave the knock another trial before she barged in when no response was given to her.
She heaved a sigh of relief when she sighted her boss still sleeping. She had become worried when he had made no response to her knocks which was unusual for him. No matter how
"How are you feeling now?" Kate asked, sitting beside Desmond on the bed."A lot better. Thank you, ma," Desmond appreciated as he sat up on the bed. He checked his watch and it was past five in the evening. He had really slept for way too long. He looked around the room and found the young girl. "Where is Faith?" he asked at the same time that Kate asked about his headache.
"Sir, I am sorry. I did not realize I was wearing this until…" sheshe was explaining."It's okay. I - I am just surprised that you're still awake at this time," he said with a craving smile. He could feel himself sweating beneath his night robe as he used the back of his hand to wipe the sweat on his forehead. But the truth was he wanted to gather her in his arms and….

Faith brought out her phone and dialed Eunice's number. She should tell her how things were going with her. Eunice picked up on second ring."Hello," Eunice said.
Faith was cooking in his kitchen the following morning after she had finished at her quarter. Desmond had told her he was not going out that day for them to just stay at home and rest.Desmond descended the stairs moments later and into the kitchen, dressed in a lazy outfit of a three quarter and an armless top to fit.
Faith sat before her mother in their house at exactly 4:30pm. She faced her mother and exchanged pleasantries with her. "Where is Amirah?" she asked when she noticed she had not heard the voice of the girl.
"What can I offer you? Want some drinks or food?" Eunice asked as her friend settled in her room and on her bed.
They had just arrived from work the evening of the following day and her boss sat on a sofa with his briefcase beside him, too tired to get a change of clothes."I'll be going to my quarter now," Faith said and her boss nodded his reply. She had just opened the door when he saw a woman coming in the compound and Faith recognized her to be the one at the grocery store.
