Amirah asked with a broad smile."Yes," Faith answered and then glanced at her boss. "You shouldn't have called them, Desmond. It's no big deal," Faith said, expecting a reply from him. He had barely spoken to her during the time he had been there before her mother arrived. All her effort to start a conversation with him kept proving fruitless.
