I delayed his death...

Governor Silas bristled. He paced around the room and flung the controller towards the 32 inches TV screen that was in the corner of the room.

He didn't think he heard what the reporter had said. He was certain of that.

But the more he stared at the screen, the more it rang in his head. And he glared at Anthony.

The same guilt was still on his face.

"Where is she?!" Silas barked. He marched towards Anthony and yanked the tie he donned.

Anthony groaned but made no move to remove the governor's hand. He expected far worse but he was glad it was only his necktie he could grip.

"Where is Leila?!" He asked again.

His body trembled with rage and several things he could do to the CSO in front of him surged through his mind.

"I-I am sorry sir." Anthony stuttered. He took a deep breath and stared at the floor with his head bowed.

"She is dead."

Governor Silas shoved him. "And how should I feel about that? Happy? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard."
