Part2.1: The Return

ONE month later.....

The lives of Ynaria, Clement, Trist, Dylan, Helen, Wendy, Ryan and Paul are back to normal. Apparently nothing happened to them in Laguna a month ago--on the day of the 5th anniversary of Seven Restaurant.

Ynaria sighed after she ate breakfast. She got up and went to the sink to wash the dishes. After washing, she returned to the room and rearranged herself. When she satisfied, she sighed before leaving the room. Ynaria even met her younger sister Yrannie "Good morning, Sis Ynaria!" Yrannie's warm feeling. "Are you going to go to work?" This is another question. It seems that Ynaria's sister's smile will have no tomorrow.

Ynaria smiled back at it, causing Yrannie's smile to widen even more. "Yes," Ynaria replied. "Where are you going?" Its asked sharply, the sister dressed for departure.

"My friends and I have a gimmick, Sis Ynaria. It's Saturday and we don't have school!" Yrannie replied.

"Oh, it's the morning of your gimmick. I'm sure you can come home the next day, am I right?" Ynaria seemed to have a strict tone.

"We are going to Laguna for hiking." Yrannie smiled.

Ynaria suddenly felt nervous at what her sister said, she seemed to come back to her memory of what happened to them and her colleagues at Seven Restaurant what happened to them in Laguna. Although he could not understand how he felt why he was nervous. Ynaria was serious and Yrannie's eyes narrowed.

"What did you say? You're going hiking in Laguna?" Ynaria asked incredulously.

"Yes," Yrannie replied quickly. "Sis Ynaria, what happened to you and you're pale?" Yrannie asked worriedly.

Ynaria took a deep breath before speaking. "Yrannie, listen. You'd better not go with your friends, okay?"

"Is there something wrong with us going to hiking?" Yrannie said suspiciously. Still frowning.

"Listen to me, as long as you can, just stay here in Manila. You can go to Antipolo, Bulacan or Pampanga but why did you even think about that?" Ynaria was confused by her sister.

"Sis Ynaria, why is what you're doing weird right now? We can't postpone it because it's on our bucket list." Yrannie was right.

Ynaria sighed to calm herself. "I'm just worried that something bad might happen to you there. You know, you're the only family I have left. Our parents have left us, they already have their own families." Ynaria said softly. But inwardly her had a strong feeling that something would happen to his sister.

"I know about Mommy and Daddy. Don't worry, I'll take care of myself for you and I'll stay by your side." Yrannie said with a smile.

Because of what Ynaria's sister said, she calmed down and realized what she was thinking was wrong. She remembered that it was just coincidence, so what the negatives were wrapping up his mind. Maybe his brain is just under an illusion because of what happened to his in Laguna.

"Be careful, Yrannie." Ynaria said softly, and it faked a smile.

"Thank you, Sis Ynaria!" Yrannie said happily, as she hugged Ynaria tightly.

Ynaria sighed after she and her sister both let go of each other's hugs. Then her sister said goodbye to it so Ynaria only nodded in response. The reason for hers sister to leave the house without looking back.

Ynaria followed, Yrannie out of the house. A man frowned sharply at the back of his sister's motorbike as it drove away. Its top is white and its bottom is black. It was not wearing shoes, but the red liquid at its feet caught the eye.

The shiver returned to Ynaria's chest. It doesn’t seem illusory. The concern on Ynaria's face faded that something bad might happen to her sister. Ynaria heard a horn, so she looked where it was coming from. A red car was parked in front of their house.

"Ynaria, Let's go!" There's Clement. It sat in the driver seat while its right hand peered out the window.

"Ah, wait, I'll just lock on the door," Ynaria whispered. Before this she slammed the door of the house. "Ynaria, calm down." It whispered to itself.

Ynaria turned forward, then started walking to Clement's car. She sat in the passenger seat and gave Clement a fake smile as an excuse to drive the car to the restaurant where they worked.

Arriving at the destination Ynaria thanked Clement before getting out of the car. Ynaria was just entering the restaurant when a man approached her.

"Good morning, young lady," was its opening greeting to Ynaria. Its pulled out a white envelope from his brown leather jacket. "Can you give this letter to the restaurant owner?" The man said and handed him the envelope its was holding.

Ynaria was about to accept the envelope the man handed her when Clement grabbed it.

"Ynaria, come inside." Clement commands her.

"O-Okay, Manager Clement. You take care of him." Ynaria sighed. She finally entered the restaurant, leaving Clement and the man outside.

Ynaria went straight to the locker room, then changed her clothes. She is now on duty as a counter girl. Meanwhile Clement's eyes narrowed at the man in front of him.

"Fackly, what are you doing here? And what is this letter?" Clement asked one question after another. He even slightly raised the envelope its was holding. Signal that it has no idea.

Fackly grinned, Clement is causing his gaze to sharpen. "Clement, you seem to have forgotten how to keep us connected to each other. As far as we know, we're slowly declining." Fackly's promise.

Clement frowned at the word Fackly spoke to him. "What do you mean?" Clement asked thoughtlessly.

"I can't last long my friend. I just reached out to you so you know what happened between the twins," Fackly replied meaningfully. "Please tell Trist, that letter came from me. It's up to you to find a way as long as you just write to George and me." Fackly's last words before its left.

Clement was left stunned as he watched the statue of Fackly walk away. He looked at the envelope he was holding and took a deep breath before entering the restaurant. Clement went straight to Trist's office, where he found his friend reading the newspaper. He sat down on the chair in front of his desk and without a word laid the envelope on the desk.

Although Trist was stunned by the object that landed on his desk. He turned back to the article he was reading. That’s about the massacre that happened at a school, eight years ago. Contrary to his memory of that event because they were still in high school when it happened.

"Fackly gives the letter."

Trist's ear tingled at Clement's mentioned name. When the calf was quickly thrown behind him the old-fashioned newspaper. At the same time facing Clement, who seemed impatient-noticeable in appearance.

"He said something that little by little we are declining." Clement said.

"I really don't think he'll give a letter if nothing bad happens." Trist's comment was calm.

"Won't you read that?" Clement pointed to the envelope.

Trist looked at the envelope before picking it up; open and read. According to the letter, Frankly announced that the twins, Simon and Samuel, both died on consecutive days. Samuel killed Simon just because Samuel murdered his twin’s girlfriend last year. So there was a dispute between the siblings. Samuel then died, two people were killed here from tourists vacationing in its territory. The letter also contained information on the two men who killed Samuel.

Trist sighed after no word handed Clement the letter after it was read. A signal that Clement will read the letter. In those moments, resentment was the first thing Trist felt. First, the siblings killed each other. Second, they are reduced by two and the latter wants revenge on the two people who killed Samuel.

"It's sad," Clement said with a slight shake after he read the letter. "First, only one was deducted from us. Now two. Then who's next?"

"Let's just think. In what way can we take revenge on the survivors." Trist yielded seriously while clenching his left fist.

"Don't worry, Trist. That'll happen in due course." Clement's meaningful manners.

"I'll wait for that time." Trist's sparing comment.

"Oh, how, it looks like I need to leave and I'm just going to take care of some guests." Clement said goodbye before this left Trist's office.
