CHAPTER 49

Lloyd was so confused at her action that he didn’t know what to say or what to do. He noticed the tears that pooled in her eyes and the pain that they held and it severely broke his heart.

He wanted to chase after her and find out what was going on but they were already the center of attention.

He immediately called his driver to take her home but he controlled himself from following her as he didn’t want to create more problems.

He knew something must have happened when she went to the restroom. His eyes snapped in that direction and he caught sight of the usher he had instructed to follow her around.

He signaled for her to follow him outside, away from the prying eyes. Even though confusion was rocking his mind, the emotion that lingered on his face was anger. Pure unfiltered rage.

Whoever it was that pissed her off was going to get the shortest short end of the stick.

“What happened in there? You were supposed to follow her,” Lloyd questioned the usher who was trembling
