Chapter 47

Vincent and Brandon groaned when the abductors threw them in the jail. They had been moving from one place to another in the past two days as if they were trying to shake off a tail that kept following them. 

“They’re tracking us down,” Vincent said after the abductors left the jail. “That’s why they’re moving us.”

“Moving us around to make a wild goose chase,” Brandon grunted.

Brandon had the worst condition than Vincent. His body was covered with burnt marks and dried blood from the wounds.

“Better than nothing. Cohen is getting somewhere,” Vincent said, leaning against the wall. “All we can do is surviving this.”
