Chapter 62
When Stefano pulled out a tiny life essence from Mira when she was living as Adeline, he planted a small part of his consciousness in her mind as a precaution. Whatever she experienced and witnessed, he would feel the same. If he didn't do that, he would never find her when she went missing from his castle.
He had to do countermeasures just in case things didn't go as planned. And it really didn't go as planned. Stefano planned to keep Mira by his side until the eclipse had passed. Then, he thought he would return her to her family while he reconciled with Adeline. But everything went down the drain when Clavier forced Mira to remember her memories that the demon wolf and Stefano locked away. The majority of Mira's memories were locked by her demon wolf. Stefano only locked away those that emerged from time to time. He never thought the demon wolf would deceive him to that extent.
